Vera Kreuter, born in 1980, obtained an M.A. in sociology and educational science from Potsdam University in 2010. Her major fields of study were educational research, analysis of social structure and social indicators research. As a student Vera Kreuter was employed at the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB) and at the Department of Educational Science at Potsdam University. In her thesis she analyzed the interrelations between fear of crime, social security and social cohesion in European countries. Vera Kreuter has been employed as a research associate at the Berlin Institute since 2011.
