Adrián Carrasco Heiermann, born 1989 in Dortmund, joined the Berlin-Institute as a researcher in December 2017. He studied sociology and political science in Düsseldorf and Bristol with a focus on critical policy studies, migration, social inequality and exclusion and holds an M.Sc. in Public Policy. Before joining the Berlin-Institute he was a project coordinator for a local NGO. In 2015 and 2016 he worked as a research consultant for the International Organisation for Migration’s Global Migration Data Analysis Centre, where he focused on issues of deaths during migration.
