Frederick Sixtus, born 1983 in Berlin, has been working for the Berlin-Institute as a research associate since 2018. He studied sociology, philology and musicology in Potsdam and Berlin. After his studies he was employed at the division of social psychology at Freie Universität Berlin. He is currently working on his dissertation on the interplay of ethnic, national, and religious identities in immigrants’ integration processes. His research focuses on the topics of migration, integration, and the challenges of demographic change.
