However, an increasing number of people are food insecure. With limited resources, farmers need to produce more food on their fields to serve the demand of growing populations. Climate change and increasing risk of droughts and floods further aggravate the situation. The second Food for Thought paper examines possible ways of securing well-balanced food and nutrition.
